Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting a recently awarded program, the contract-to-hire Senior Systems Administrator will manage and optimize on-premises and cloud-based systems while ensuring stability, security, and efficient operation in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain security best practices across enterprise technology systems in collaboration with the SOC team
• Support and troubleshoot hybrid environments, including on-premises servers and Azure cloud resources, ensuring reliable operation of software and hardware
• Provide local and remote user support, including orientation and guidance for modified and new systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of systems administration experience
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Azure administration
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
• Knowledge of data privacy practices, including PCI compliance
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
