Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support a recently awarded program, the remote Senior Systems Administrator will manage and optimize cloud and networked systems, ensuring the stability, integrity, and security of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure while collaborating closely with the infrastructure and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administration and maintenance of security best practices across enterprise technology systems
• Collaborate with team members to ensure reliable operation of software, hardware, and cloud systems
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and support a hybrid environment consisting of on-premises servers and Azure cloud resources

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of systems administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Azure administration
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
• Knowledge of data privacy practices, including PCI compliance
• Strong experience with systems planning and network infrastructure management best practices
