Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of War Education Activity, the fully remote Senior Systems Administrator will administer and modernize enterprise Windows Server, virtualization, cloud, and storage environments, ensuring system availability and security while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, Azure resources, and Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring operational support for mission-critical applications
• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, providing technical direction to engineers and cross-functional teams
• Perform Active Directory administration and manage enterprise identity solutions, including DNS and DHCP services

Required qualifications

• At least five years of experience administering Windows Server systems in an enterprise environment
• At least five years of experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization technologies
• Experience managing SAN or enterprise storage solutions and their integration with network and virtualization platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent
• Active Secret security clearance required
