Senior Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To support server operations and enterprise applications, the full-time Senior Systems Administrator will manage systems administration activities, including automation and scripting, while performing installations, configurations, and troubleshooting in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee systems administration tasks, ensuring effective automation, scripting, and support for Linux server operations
- Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of systems
- Troubleshoot complex OS-level performance and availability issues, managing system services and storage
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or IT
- Five years of relevant experience in IT and systems administration
- Proficiency with VMware and ESXi
- Experience in configuring applications to connect to backend databases, including MSSQL
- Understanding of SSL installation and configuration of certificates
