Senior Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To ensure optimal system performance, the fully remote Senior Systems Administrator will maintain critical infrastructure, automate routine operations, and serve as the primary escalation point for IT issues.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor critical systems, including job schedulers and backup processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues, acting as the escalation point
- Automate routine tasks using scripts and configuration management tools
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration or IT infrastructure roles
- Deep experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar
- Solid understanding of backup, archiving, and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience with hybrid or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
