Senior Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To ensure the stable operation of the Defense Logistics Agency's computer software systems and network connections, the full-time Senior Systems Administrator will manage network software and communication links, analyze end-user issues, and provide maintenance support remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communication links
- Analyze and resolve end-user software program and connectivity issues while providing end-user training
- Support general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications across multiple locations
Required qualifications
- Seven years of progressive experience in Information Processing, with four years concentrated on hands-on software installation and maintenance
- Hands-on experience with ColdFusion and/or .NET frameworks in both Linux and Windows server environments
- Experience using modern IDEs like Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code for software development
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification
- Active Secret clearance and IAT II certification as per 8570.01-M/8140 Baseline requirements
