Senior Systems Architect

Job Summary

To support a major federal civilian agency's cybersecurity program, the full-time Senior Systems Architect will drive the modernization of the agency's cyber posture, focusing on designing and implementing advanced security architectures and solutions while working remotely within close proximity to the National Capital Region.

Key responsibilities

• Supports the design and alignment of operational, technical, and informational architecture across enterprise domains
• Develops IT solutions based on strategic business and technical requirements, translating complex needs into actionable architectural direction
• Leads architecture activities and designs high-quality architectures that align with organizational requirements and enterprise standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 12+ years of experience in supporting Cybersecurity Information Technology
• Active Public Trust 6c clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
• AWS Solution Architect certification - mandatory
• 3+ years of experience supporting cloud-based solutions, with additional AWS Cloud certifications considered a plus
