Senior Systems Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Automation Engineer (U.S. Remote - Occasional Office Visits Required).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated deployment and configuration management solutions across Windows and Linux infrastructures
• Implement and optimize automation workflows using tools such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Chef, and Puppet
• Provide robust support for system and application-specific issues while participating in hardware and software upgrade planning

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering within dynamic SaaS or hosting infrastructures
• Minimum of 3 years developing and documenting automation/orchestration standards using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Chef, or Puppet
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure)
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server and major Linux distributions
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
