Senior Systems Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Data Engineer, Financial Transactions and Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect event-driven pipelines and develop data models ensuring transactional integrity for commercial events
• Automate scalable ETL processes and enhance data architectures to meet growing business demands
• Collaborate to codify business processes into self-measuring systems, ensuring reliability in financial operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); Master's preferred
• 12+ years of industry experience in scalable financial services
• Expertise in building scalable REST APIs with PostgreSQL and proficiency in Python, Golang, Scala, or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and dbt for managing large-scale data tables
• Deep understanding of high-scale distributed systems, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
