Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical delivery of Edge technology projects, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will ensure the stability and efficient operation of information systems, focusing on areas such as Content Delivery, Security, and API enablement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for Cloud Services solution delivery and project implementations
• Analyze current systems for deficiencies and develop solutions to enhance service delivery and operations
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to gather requirements and architect infrastructure-as-code solutions

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline or equivalent experience/certification
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years in Linux and Cloud technologies
• 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) modeling and infrastructure engineering at enterprise scale
• Experience with technologies such as AWS CloudFront, Akamai, and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
• Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance practices
