Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support cloud infrastructure initiatives and the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET) project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS environments for FEWS NET, ensuring operational readiness
• Design hybrid cloud solutions and provide technical leadership for AI initiatives
• Coordinate with the InfoSec team to ensure security compliance and manage disaster recovery strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 9 years of experience, or a master's degree with 4 years of experience, or 15 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience with VMWare/vCenter environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems installation and administration
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud environments and enterprise storage solutions
