Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer in the Department of Public Health Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new software for research, including features and algorithms
• Provide technical support and guidance to lab members for software and hardware usage
• Test and modify software applications for correctness, efficiency, and integration into research

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Four years of experience in computer system development and modification
• Experience with software development in languages such as C/C++, Ruby on Rails, and Javascript
• Familiarity with cloud-computing technologies, including Docker and Hadoop
• Experience in evolutionary computing and parallel computing environments using MPI
