Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to manage complex projects and oversee technology in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and engineer the organization's systems infrastructure while ensuring consistency and coherence
• Implement or upgrade hardware and software solutions, coordinating with System Administrators and development teams
• Troubleshoot performance and technical issues, assisting the development team with application and systems performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, or 4+ years related work experience
• 8+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, and administering web server and networking infrastructures
• Deep knowledge of VMware, Linux, Windows, .Net, Java, SAN, and databases
• Minimum of 3 years mentoring and directing the work of other systems administrators and/or engineers
• Experience with networking, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing technologies is required
