Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate high-performance Linux systems for transaction processing and block building
• Optimize critical paths in infrastructure and Solana core to reduce latency and increase throughput
• Contribute performance improvements upstream related to Solana, OS, and QEMU components

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems-level programming in C, C++, or Rust
• Deep experience with Linux systems engineering and performance-critical infrastructure
• Proficiency with profiling and tracing tools such as perf and eBPF
• Experience debugging network performance using tools like tcpdump and Wireshark
• Familiarity with CPU microarchitecture concerns, including cache behavior and NUMA
