Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Safety Methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Scale and manage safety framework methods and partner with teams to implement evaluation infrastructure
• Develop and monitor quantitative metrics for system performance against safety targets
• Identify safety gaps and maintain structured documentation of safety artifacts and readiness decisions

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; Masters or PhD in engineering preferred
• 5+ years of experience in automotive, robotics, or a related industry
• Experience in developing a safety case for autonomous vehicles
• Knowledge of safety methods and standards such as STPA, SOTIF, and ISO/SAE PAS 22736
• Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering, and physics
