Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer responsible for resolving escalated service issues and engineering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and engineer the organization's systems infrastructure, ensuring coherence and consistency
• Implement or upgrade hardware and software solutions while coordinating with System Administrators and development teams
• Troubleshoot performance and technical issues, assisting the development team with application and systems performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, or 4+ years related work experience
• 8+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, and administering web server and application infrastructures
• Deep knowledge of VMware, Windows, .Net, Java, SAN, and databases
• Minimum of 3 years mentoring and directing other systems administrators or engineers
• Solid foundation with security principles including HIPAA and SOX compliance preferred
