Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support Middleware and Back-End Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical analysis of application and database systems
• Monitor application performance and provide technical assistance in application engineering and architecture
• Manage execution of change requests and break fix incidents, including application upgrades and automation development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, or high school degree and 5 years of related experience
• 3-5 years of experience in software application administration and support in UNIX and Windows environments
• 2+ years of SQL experience, including updating tables and stored procedures
• Experience with Oracle, Postgres, DB2, MSSQL, or MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of multi-tiered/highly available application infrastructure
