Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer I will oversee the development and enhancement of mobile applications supporting the Zio service, ensuring alignment with technical, regulatory, and business objectives in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to define and document system and subsystem requirements and workflows
• Oversee the end-to-end data flow from medical devices through mobile connectivity into cloud infrastructure
• Maintain and update system architecture documents and contribute to design deliverables and risk management throughout product development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering within a regulated industry, or fewer years with a Master's or PhD
• Experience defining requirements and data flows for mobile applications connected to IoT hardware
• Knowledge of standards compliance and risk management
• Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with software and firmware developers
