Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Systems Engineer will support mission-critical Demand Response and Distributed Energy Management solutions for electric utilities, ensuring system performance and customer trust while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep technical expertise in Distributed Energy Management and Demand Response solutions for North American electric utility customers
• Deploy, configure, and upgrade system components in both test and production environments, focusing on stability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex multi-layer issues across applications, databases, and infrastructure in Linux-based environments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in a Linux-based production environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong database administration expertise with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and database troubleshooting within production systems
• Experience debugging complex issues using application and system logs across distributed environments
