Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Systems Engineer will manage research, architecture, design, installation, integration, support, and optimization of diverse technologies within the information technology infrastructure and application environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develops critical and non-critical systems based on customer specifications and budgets
• Leads project planning and execution, ensuring technical solutions meet business needs while coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Takes ownership of operational support for assigned systems, including documentation and knowledge transfer between teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in systems engineering, covering the complete systems development lifecycle
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Desktop platforms, networking concepts, and relational databases
• Experience with system architecture, design, integration, and implementation
• Cloud Practitioner Certification is a plus
