Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in managing large-scale production systems, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) will provide operational support for complex application cloud systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security policies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of cloud-based systems
• Detect, document, and resolve system outages, ensuring quick recovery and communication with users
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
• Proficiency with AWS and/or Azure Cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
