Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To provide high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) will develop solutions for technical problems, manage system outages, and ensure compliance with security policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational support and maintenance of cloud systems
• Detect, document, and resolve system outages, ensuring rapid recovery and communication with users
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
• Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure Cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
• Ability to troubleshoot system performance and implement security measures
