Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Systems Engineer will administer and manage Kafka platforms, develop new services and enhancements, and provide client support for an enterprise healthcare client.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Kafka platforms both on-premises and in the cloud
• Develop new services and enhancements while coaching junior team members
• Provide client support and manage incidents, including solution engineering and code reviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with Kafka platforms and data integration
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and scrum ceremonies
• Ability to develop Proofs-of-Concept and enhance existing services
• Experience in client support and incident management
