Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Systems Engineer will evaluate utility distribution systems, collaborate with utility teams to assess grid needs, and support the design and deployment of distributed energy resources.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate utility distribution systems and grid planning processes to identify opportunities for distributed energy deployment
• Support the technical design and deployment of distributed energy resources, including battery energy storage systems and EV charging infrastructure
• Translate complex technical requirements into actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or related fields
• Experience working with electric utilities, energy developers, or grid operators
• Familiarity with distributed energy technologies such as battery storage and solar
• Experience evaluating technical requirements and system integration challenges
• A passion for innovation and improving grid operations
