Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular-NodeJS-FullStack) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design and maintain RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for EDI healthcare records
• Support an Angular-based front-end, ensuring accurate data presentation for users

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs for structured data
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
