Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the U.S. Coast Guard's digital transformation initiatives, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership and systems engineering expertise, focusing on automation, modernization, and integration activities within the CGOne environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for digital transformation and automation initiatives
• Analyze operational requirements and develop technical recommendations for enterprise modernization
• Coordinate with various teams to support scalable enterprise solutions and participate in governance activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8-12 years of experience, or 6-10 years with a Master's degree
• Experience with complex federal IT, systems engineering, or modernization programs
• Familiarity with systems integration and digital transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting stakeholder coordination and cross-functional technical teams
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust
