Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will operate, maintain, and enhance cloud infrastructure for a large federal enterprise platform, ensuring security, stability, and performance while supporting Kubernetes and automating operations through infrastructure as code.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and harden AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues
• Automate infrastructure operations and configuration using Terraform

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
• Expert-level experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Proficient in at least one infrastructure-as-code tool, preferably Terraform
• Strong knowledge of systems administration, networking, and containerization
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust/suitability determination
