Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Low-Earth Orbit Ground Sustainment Services program, the remote Senior Systems Engineer IV will manage complex systems engineering tasks, lead software development teams, and ensure effective testing and validation of integrated systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of large-scale enterprise-information systems
• Lead software teams in developing microservices and web services while coordinating with stakeholders to define product requirements
• Conduct verification testing of deployed systems and implement large-scale test execution events

Required qualifications

• 8-15+ years of experience in systems engineering and test verification
• Proven experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL Server, and NoSQL development
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes for cloud-based solutions
• Experience in developing NOAA/NASA systems engineering documentation
• Hands-on experience leading software development teams and conducting system testing
