Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the global design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical guidance, manage data center resources, and ensure system reliability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data center infrastructure and network layout
• Implement standards for server architecture and ensure adequate capacity for corporate computing needs
• Provide technical support and automation capabilities for compute resources across various operating systems and cloud services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience managing data center resources and virtual hosting platforms
• Strong experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and container-based systems
• Proficiency in configuration management utilities such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
• Knowledge of scripting languages including Python, Powershell, and Bash
