Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large healthcare client, the contract Senior Systems Engineer will manage and maintain Kafka platforms, focusing on platform administration, automation, and client support in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Kafka platforms, both on-premise and in the cloud
• Develop new services and enhancements for platform capabilities
• Provide client support and manage incidents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
• 4-6 years of related experience in systems engineering
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka administration
• Experience with AWS and Event-Driven Architecture
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, preferably Dynatrace and Splunk
