Job Summary
Providing technical leadership and systems engineering expertise, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will support the U.S. Coast Guard's digital transformation and modernization initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to define requirements and implement solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering support for digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Analyze operational requirements and develop technical recommendations for enterprise modernization
- Support systems integration, requirements management, and architecture development activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline with 8-10 years of experience (or 6-10 years with a Master's degree)
- Experience supporting complex federal IT, systems engineering, or modernization programs
- Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes and requirements management practices
- OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Model Builder certification
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust
