Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Senior Systems Engineer, the candidate will design, implement, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure and enterprise systems, focusing on Linux, Windows, and cloud technologies while collaborating with managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Linux, Backup, and Disaster Recovery technologies in public/private cloud, including asset inventory and security controls
• Analyze and improve current business and technology practices, user needs, and workflow processes
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and support after-hours as needed, while adhering to corporate security policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux, Windows, and Cloud Systems Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of various Linux distributions in cloud environments like Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SFTP, and scripting
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored work authorization
