Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Providing third-level support for client and internal systems, the permanent remote Senior Systems Engineer will manage server infrastructure, support virtualization platforms, and coordinate complex IT development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support anti-spam, web-filtering, and network perimeter defense appliances while managing storage and virtualization platforms
• Act as an escalation point for server infrastructure issues and coordinate network-related work with various IT teams
• Work with clients to assess needs, improve delivery processes, and provide updates and documentation as required by project plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5-6 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Microsoft operating system-based servers
• Experience managing complex technical development projects involving integration of multiple systems
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and familiarity with Citrix and terminal services
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy Administration, and virtualization technologies like VMware
