Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Systems Engineer will collaborate with the Design team to develop innovative Unmanned Systems for defense and commercial applications, focusing on requirements management, system architecture development, and simulation model creation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage requirements traceability and evolution throughout the system development cycle
• Provide weekly status updates on system development progress and allocate requirements to subsystems
• Evaluate system performance thresholds and contribute to the development of instrumented flight test vectors and data acquisition

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8 - 12 years of experience in a systems engineering role, preferably in aerospace systems engineering
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Matlab
• Experience in managing requirements traceability and developing systems test plans
• Familiarity with electronics and systems related to image collection and analysis
