Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Naval Mission Planning System (NavMPS) initiative, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will apply systems engineering processes to modernize the Common Mission Bit Reprogramming (CMBRE) system, focusing on hardware and software integration while working in a hybrid environment with required travel to the Program Office.
Key responsibilities
- Apply systems engineering processes for the analysis, design, and documentation of the CMBRE system
- Manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to ensure integration of CMBRE hardware and software
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to resolve engineering and software challenges
Required qualifications
- A technical or scientific degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated experience in systems engineering
- Ability to travel within CONUS
- Eligible to retain an active secret clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
