Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Systems Engineer will administer and manage Kafka platforms, develop new services and enhancements, and provide client support for an enterprise healthcare client.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Kafka platforms both on-prem and in the cloud
- Develop new services and enhancements while coaching junior team members
- Provide client support and manage incidents, including solution engineering and code reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with AWS and Apache Kafka
- Knowledge of Cloud Engineering and Confluent Cloud
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies
- Understanding of Event Driven Architecture and Information Systems Security
