Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Caribbean Central America organization, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will design, implement, and optimize IBM-focused infrastructure solutions, ensuring operational support for revenue-generating applications and leading a team of engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and implements complex compute and storage solutions to enable business growth
- Provides operational support for infrastructure services, ensuring smooth execution of critical applications
- Directs and trains engineers to meet project commitments and manages workload prioritization
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience in enterprise infrastructure
- Proficient in English (B2 level or higher) for clear communication with stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including server, storage, and virtualization
- Ability to lead technical work independently and make sound engineering decisions
