Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and serving healthcare records
• Collaborate with internal teams to define API contracts and ensure accurate data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
