Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs that serve and transform EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
