Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design and maintain RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve structured healthcare data
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and contribute to an Angular-based front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and handling structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
