Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain cloud-based applications, develop RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Integrate with internal APIs and data services to ensure reliable delivery of live and historical EDI transaction data

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and API management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
