Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services and version control using Git/GitHub
