Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Proven ability to build RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured data (XML, JSON)
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and experience with Git/GitHub
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
