Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring reliable data delivery
• Contribute to an Angular-based front-end by integrating APIs and ensuring accurate data presentation

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
