Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Proven ability to design and build RESTful APIs that handle structured healthcare data
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with deployment and monitoring
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
