Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs that retrieve and serve healthcare records while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Write clean, testable code and perform unit and integration testing across back-end services and API layers

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, including Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
