Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare EDI records
• Support an Angular-based front-end, ensuring accurate data presentation for users
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while promoting best software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on back-end technologies such as Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and building RESTful APIs for structured data
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS/Azure) and version control using Git/GitHub
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
