Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that serve and transform structured healthcare data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and support front-end development in Angular

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
