Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for serving structured healthcare data
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Proven ability to build RESTful APIs that handle structured data formats like XML and JSON
• Experience with AWS or Azure services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
