Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design and maintain RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and contribute to an Angular-based dashboard front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building back-end services that serve structured EDI or healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and RESTful API design
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
